As a predominantly outdoors photographer, I dreaded using the studio. I had no research into studio photography going into it, and the use of artificial lighting was a daunting project. By the end of my education in SERC, where I was taught the in's and out's of studio photography, I had fallen madly in love with the studio. Despite being in a confined space, I felt just as free with my camera as I do in the mountains. My studio portfolio will only grow from here onwards.
